By seeking AMTA Certification as a driver, the driver demonstrates a commitment to ensuring that the truck(s) they operate possess the necessary safety features and confirms that they will conduct themselves with safety at the forefront. The driver is fully responsible for the handling of the monster truck and will be backed by the AMTA if they refuse to drive due to safety concerns regarding the monster truck itself or the event at which it was set to operate.

By becoming AMTA-Certified, you enhance your credibility, industry reputation, and your commitment to enacting safety protocols that protect all individuals involved in managing, operating, and attending monster truck events. Certification does not guarantee that the driver will operate the monster truck(s) in a safe manner; however, it does highlight their dedication to monster truck safety.

Drivers approved by the AMTA will be contacted with a Certification document that expresses our understanding of your commitment to safety and officially grants the driver certification for a year.

*Please note that, if the driver’s certification is rejected by the AMTA due to reports of any unsafe activities at any stage of the certification process, they will be refunded the difference between the Driver’s Certification and the Associate membership, and be re-classified as an AMTA associate. Drivers will be notified of this and can appeal against the rejection.

*Driver certification does not auto-renew and therefore must be resubmitted on an annual basis. The AMTA and its representatives assume no liability whatsoever and will not be held responsible for any incidents or accidents that occur by its associates or members.

Drivers will also gain access to all AMTA Associate membership benefits.
